Get started with your sewing machine: Live online workshop

A live online workshop with Kate, giving you a gentle but comprehensive beginners guide to using your sewing machine. Kate will take you through the basics, you'll make your first project and have the opportunity to ask questions. We will cover: 

- Sewing machine basics incl  threading your machine - Sew a cushion cover

- Troubleshooting - Maintenance - Q&A (if we have time) Everyone will receive the video recording, so please don't worry if you can't join live - you will be able to catch up in your own time, and watch back as many times as you like. If you'd like to sew along and make your own cushion during the workshop, you will need: - Woven Fabric (not knitted/stretchy): 43cm x 102cm - Sewing machine - Sewing thread - Fabric scissors - Pins or clips - Tape measure - Iron & ironing board
